Bat, Bat

Bat, Bat (clap hands) come under my hat,
And I'll give you a slice of bacon;
And when I bake, I'll give you a cake
If I am not mistaken.

A Wise Old Owl

A wise old owl
Sat in an oak,
The more he heard,
The less he spoke;

The less he spoke,
The more he heard;
Why aren't we all
Like that wise old bird?

The Little Bird

Once I saw a little bird
Hoping: hop, hop, hop
And I cried:
- Little bird, will you stop, stop, stop?

I was going to the window
To say: How do you do?
But he shook his little tail
And away he flew.

High In The Pine Tree

High in the pine tree,
The little turtledove
Made a little nursery
To please her little love.

"Coo," said the turtledove,
"Coo," said she;
In the long, shady branches
Of the dark pine tree.

The Bird House

"Little bird, little bird,
Look at me!
I have a bird-house,
Oh, come and see!"

"Little boy, little boy,
Under the tree,
I like this house,
Give it to me!"

The North Wind Doth Blow

The North wind doth blow,
And we shall have snow,
And what will poor Robin do then?
Poor thing.

He'll sit in a barn,
And keep himself warm,
And hide his head under his wing,
Poor thing.
